Job description
To strengthen the Accounting & Finance department of Tessenderlo Group, located in Brussels, we are looking for a Credit & Collection Analyst. In this role, you will :
- Manage the client payment default risks of the Group
- Manage daily credit limit requests and sales order releases
- Limit the number of past due invoices to a minimum by being in direct contact with customers
- Maintain and further develop a collection strategy for the different customer segments
- Be a trusted partner to the sales organization by being solution driven while keeping a sound balance between acceptable credit risk and commercial interest
- Review the creditworthiness of current and potential future customers and suppliers
- Operationally manage group credit procedures and group credit insurance
- Maintain and improve the current tools available in order to manage credit risks (as well at HQ as in subsidiaries)
- Assist to further develop the current group Credit and Collection reporting
- Act as a central point of contact for financial information and analysis with the group
You report to the Group Credit Manager.
Profile
- Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance or Economy,
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role,
- Proficiency in Excel,
- An experience with SAP is a plus.
- Fluent in English, French & Dutch,
- Strong analytical, very communicative, and teamwork skills,
- Flexible and dynamic, with an eye for detail.
